Artist's Comments

And now, making her dA debut, is Princess Maya of Kuzcotopia, Kaboot's character from the infamous EPIC FANFICTION.

This depicts Maya as she appears in the original fanfic, and then as she appears in the sequel, which happens about five years later. Maya is the adoptive daughter of Emperor Kuzco, is a magician in training, hangs out with Iago the parrot, and thinks hot and crispy pillbugs are the most delicious things in the world.

Her older design is not entirely finalized, so I might re-submit this with any updates.

Any questions about the EPIC FANFICTION are welcomed, but I have discussed who she is pretty clearly, so questions about 'Who is this person?' will be chuckled at before I respond to them. =D

As you'll see in the description, she's adopted. Her birth parents aren't really in the picture.

And, if ya'll don't mind me sticking my nose into this... Yeah, Maya doesn't remember her birthday parents, and I haven't decided much about them yet. The closest Maya's had to a 'mom' would probably be her 'Aunt' Chicha, really.
